LED and OLED TVsJust bought a Samsung S95D and the TV does not reliably turn on through HDMI CEC ... I've tried using an Apple TV and a Playstation 5, both of which are set to turn the TV on through HDMI CEC and have the appropriate cables to do so (i.e. both of these devices turned my previous Samsung Q90T on without any issues prior to this TV).
This seems to be an issue when the TV is off for more than an hour ... if the TV was just recently turned off (e.g. in the past hour), the Apple TV and the Playstation 5 are both able to turn the TV on. Anything more than an hour, the TV does not turn on successfully through these two devices

LED and OLED TVsSame here. CEC works perfectly EXCEPT when the TV has been off for a while.
PS5 and appleTV newest gen.
And yes, copy paste Samsung employees, I have reset everything/updated everything/tested that my devices work on my old Samsung TV frame 2022, etc. This is a firmware problem on the S95D.

LED and OLED TVsSame issue now, but CEC used to work. I bought a Samsung 70" - TU700D Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV in Dec 2022 and it would turn on and off whenever I turned by XBox on and off. But around Apr 2024, CEC quit working. Have tried doing a factory reset on the TV, but that didn't work.

LED and OLED TVsHello, I don't know why but for the last 2 days it's been working, everything's fine now.
When I turn on the Apple TV, my S95D starts and starts on the right HDMI.
My Apple TV software version: 18.1
My S95D firmware version: 1201
Please note that this works regardless of the shutdown time.

LED and OLED TVsI have the same issue on a new The Frame. Have worked for years on old Samsung TV, and worked for one week on the new one.

LED and OLED TVs## Resolution for those that have home assistant ##
I've got the same issue where the HDMI CEC appears to go to sleep after about an hour.
I tried the fixes described in this post but none of them worked:
Updating to latest firmware didn't solve the issue.
Unplugging everything and plugging it back in again didn't solve the issue.
Turning off that voice control switch etc didn't solve the issue.
The only thing I could do to solve the issue (and I appreciate this won't work for everyone unless you have home assistant) was to create an automation in home assistant that basically says when I turn on my Sky Q box switch on the TV. Problem is solved and it works perfectly every time now.

What Home Assistant integration are you using to turn on the TV? I tried both samsungtv integration and Wake on LAN and both are unable to (reliably) turn on the TV.

LED and OLED TVsI have tried this one, and still cannot get it to turn on after sleep.
Are you using the SmartThings token, or just straight up IP?
