I have the model Ln46c530f1fxza and it is from 2010
Everytime I turn it on, there is a start up sound that is too loud and waking up people in the middle of the night
I disabled melody so it is showing OFF but sound did not go away
I muted the TV before I shut it off so that next time when I turn it on, it will not sound but it did not remember the mute. So the sound is still there
What to do?

LED and OLED TVsHi @misterno. Unfortunately if the disabling the sound through the menu didn't work, service may be needed. You can try resetting the television by cutting power for 30 seconds, but there's no guarantee that that will resolve the issue. Due to the age of the television, you can find a local service technician in your area for the service if you decide to take that route.
