S24 Battery Drain Post-Update

I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast. 

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software. 

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

It's been a full 2 weeks since I installed the stable version on my S24U.

After wiping the cache partition, the battery life was great the first few days - especially idle battery drain. After the 2nd day, it took a turn for some unknown reason and now drains about 1% per hour, even with no usage.

(This is all with light performance mode, battery saver on, on wifi, bluetooth off, location off. I haven't changed my usage habits since 6.1 either)

1% an hour, even in standby would mean that your device will last for days.

Yes, same battery is draining fast since the update.

I just started leaving it in charge when I can. It may be getting better but I'm waiting it out. My biggest issue is more the phone lockups when I get a call. Tried all the normal steps and will see if that resolves it. Not a seamless update

Is anyone else's s24 ultra phone just die really fast during the day? I have my phone on optimized battery protection or whatever it is to extend the battery life but it just seems that my phone is almost dead by 7pm. It never used to be that way. I don't think I'm using it that much lmao

My battery dies faster after the official One UI 7 update. Battery life was really good on beta 5

Oh I don't have the ui7 update yet. But I hope it doesn't get worse for me otherwise I'm gonna need a battery pack to carry around
