S24 Battery Drain Post-Update

I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast. 

 
Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software. 
 
This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.
 
If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

After this new update I've noticed severe battery drainage with my 24 ultra as well with my watch active 5. I recently started using a regular USB charging cable with my 24 ultra and an apple c block with my watch. Since samsung no longer supplies the c block with the devices it makes using their charging cable difficult unless you already have a block. I still have an old samsung c charging block from when I had my note 10 plus. I charged my phone the other night with my Samsung block and my battery does not seem to drain nearly as bad as when I use the old Samsung USB block. Maybe this conclusion can help others with their battery drainage after the update!!!!!!

I've noticed the same accelerated battery drain on my s24 Ultra. I was in the beta program, and the issue seemed to appear in the last beta version. I don't know if it's related to the location icon always showing up on the status bar now, but, whatever it is, I certainly hope Samsung is preparing a fix. At this point, I'd just appreciate an acknowledgement of the problem and a statement that they're working on it.

I spent hours on chat with samsung over this exact issue.   They told me to do a factory reset ( and lose all my information)   that is unacceptable,  you caused the problem,  now fix it
