Recently I have noticed my DND schedule is not being followed. My schedule varies throughout the week, so I have set a schedule to follow. For reasons unknown, at different times at night, the DND turns itself off. For example, one night I have it scheduled between 11PM and 8 AM the following morning. I am awakened from email notifications at 315 AM. I know I shouldn't be hearing this from my phone so when I check it, the DND is off. So I reset it, only to be awakened again just after 7 AM.
I have deleted schedules and re-entered them. I have rebooted my phone multiple times and it still seems to turn off. Since I have had this phone for a while and it just recently started, I am thinking it was from an update. Anyone else having this issue and/or know how to resolve it?
Does it turn itself off if you activate it manually, or does it say on until you turn it off? Try activating it manually and see if it turns itself off. If it does the same, put in an error report and you could just add a mode or routine to mute your phone at night. You will still get notifications, but you won't hear them, and you won't hear any vibrations. All do not disturb does is essentially mute your phone anyway.
I started using the Sleep routine in the Modes and Routines app because this issue was happening to me too. Now DND works as ot should from 10p to 8a my phone is silent unless a favorite contact texts/calls. I also don't use the Sleep schedule in the Clock app because that also has issues. You could make Sleep routines (1,2 3/A,B,C etc.) for your different times and maybe that will work better. Just a suggestion.
