S24 Battery Drain Post-Update

I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast. 

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software. 

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

Car battery or a aa battery for that matter be short lived on 6 percent

I've had devices shut down on me at low percentages before. If you have resource-intensive tasks going on (esp. streaming videos), it's not out of the question.

I totally get your frustration — major updates can sometimes cause unexpected battery drain. 😕
While waiting for an official fix, small tweaks and optimization tips can help a lot.

Same issue here after One UI 7 the idle drain is crazy Try wiping cache partition turning off background apps disabling Always On Display and recalibrating the battery from 0 to 100 percent This helped mine stabilize Hopefully Samsung fixes it soon
