Galaxy S24
Hi and thank you in advance for any help you may provide! I did an update on my phone this morning and ever since then my email has been messed up. I use the general Samsung/Android email app and it is connected to my comcast server. I'm having trouble when trying to compose an email. I type a paragraph or two and then I try to scroll back up to the top to proofread and the screen immediately jumps back down to the bottom. This occurs whether or not the keyboard is open. I have disabled the writing assistant and can find no grammar applications that are turned on. I don't know what else to do but it's very frustrating! I have also reset my phone and cleared the email cache but I do not wish to clear the data. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I did find a temporary solution in another thread that seems to have worked for now but may reappear later. Step 1- open your settings and go to your apps. Step 2- Click on the sort feature near the top. Your screen will look like Pic 1. Step 3- switch to enabled as well as show system apps and click ok. Step 4- scroll to Android System Web View and select (Pic 2). Step 5- uninstall updates.
I have not figured out a way to take this particular app out of auto update and I don't know that we should but this has fixed the problem for now. Hopefully Samsung will fix the glitch in another update soon. Good-luck!
