Galaxy S24What kind of surface did you drop it on? Did you drop it face down? No case or screen protector? Gorilla Glass is just tempered glass, not a magic polymer. It will break under the right conditions. It's made to be durable, not indestructible. Also, I know of no Samsung phone where you can take photos underwater. They are water resistant to a point, but that's only in case of accidental spills and splashes. The intent was never to be an underwater camera. You can still take photos underwater if it's enclosed in one of those protective vinyl bags, but certainly not naked and exposed.
So please don't blame Samsung for your misunderstanding of the phone's durability features.

Galaxy S24Samsung does not manufacture Gorilla Glass anyway, Corning does.
