The app store has disappeared from my TV. I can go into apps, but all it has is search and suggestions and editors choice. How do I bring back the store and categories?
my APP STORE icon also went missing, but I found if you scroll all the way left to the 🔍 search icon, and you type in the app you’re looking for, you’ll find it. It looks at first like it for finding tv shows, but apps are also to be found there.
Move over to the left on the main screen and click the magnifier. Enter what you’re looking for and on the right are results. Then you need to move down past TV, Movies, Games and finally get to Apps
I still don't believe it's a solution. On my TV if you have an app that is the same name as a movie or TV show. I had to use the Samsung app on my phone to properly search for apps. There is still no option to re-install an app that's giving you problems. (like the old scroll of installed apps).
It seems the newest (2025?) lower end models might be set up differently than older models. I just got a U7900F and had the same problem. From the home screen press the left navigation button and select the magnifying glass. Type the app you want and you'll get a choice of things that match. Unfortunately you have to scroll down to see Apps that match your search. Stupid, but it works
