LED and OLED TVsGreetings,
I have a Samsung QN90AA 50 Tv and YouTube TV. Up until last night it had worked for some years.
Now there is no video or sound. The guide shows up and all the settings tabs and so on. There is even the option to resume a previously viewed show and I can click on that.
No video at all. It is stuck on a black screen with the little circle spinning.
If I click on the resume show windows, there is a commercial for some 3 minutes. The commercial video shows. No problem. there little timer is there to show the 3 minutes going by. Then upon completion, the screen goes black with the spinning circle.
I have done the following: power recycle, reinstall, clear cache, delete Smart Hub and reset to factory specs. No change.
In looking at the nerd information there is NO "Network Activity" The connection speed shows as well as the buffer health.
Also, YouTube TV works fine on my Samsung S21, desktop, laptop, tablet and Roku device. No problem.
The Samsung TV is connected via hardware to the router. There is WiFi also. Tried both connections. Just in case there was a hard wire issue. Zero luck there.
Up until now, there was not any issue. Download speed is about 120 Mps and upload is about 60 Mps.

LED and OLED TVsYou were much more successful than I was with regard to Samsung. They just steered me to the App vendor, i.e. YouTube TV.
The YTTV folks were very kind, but nothing was done.
It seems the only way to remedy this issue is for a new firmware upgrade that addresses the code problem or for a firmware downgrade. There is no way of which I am aware that can produce a downgrade other than a motherboard change with the old firmware.
It seems we have a cause.
It is the Samsung firmware that is the problem.
We just do not have a good solution.

LED and OLED TVsIโve been having the exact same issue with the Samsung YouTubeTV app since 1/1/2025. I was on firmware 2011 and noticed today my S90 had auto updated to version 2020. Unfortunately even reinstalling YouTubeTV after the update and a power reset did not fix the issue. Is there any hope that a future update is planned to resolve the issue?

LED and OLED TVsI'm not optimistic for a positive outcome. It appears we're stuck in the middle of a "blame-game" situation between Google, Paramount Plus and Samsung.
We removed the Samsung installed apps and went back to using an Amazon Firestick because their apps work.

LED and OLED TVsIโve had my QN65S90 for almost a year and YouTubeTV was working fine until New Years Eve at midnight. I had been watching the NYE channels on YTTV and decided to switch to OTA to reduce the time delay (~30s with YTTV). When I went back to YTTV it no longer was able to stream (DVR or Live) and has been that way ever since. All other Samsung apps (including YouTube) work and YTTV on my AppleTV is still working. I have a support incident open with Google that has been escalated to engineering.

LED and OLED TVsSame! I plugged it in for 1 hour then decided it wasnโt worth it and returned the antenna. Now my YouTube tv wonโt stream. The app opens but it wonโt load any channel. Tried everything the previous comments suggested and nothing works. Spent hours on the phone with Samsung and google, but nothing. Samsung said Iโd have to pay a repairman to fix it. Iโll never buy another Samsung product after this. Very disappointing.

LED and OLED TVsThis issue just hit our 2023 QN85 today. Googled the issue and found this thread. Read through nearly all of the exhausting efforts you all have done. Kudos for the effort. Then told my wife what was happening and she Googled the issue a different way. She said โhere try it now,โ and the darn thing worked again. Unreal. Go into your YouTubeTV app settings (she did it from her phone) and update your location. I hope it works for you all too!

LED and OLED TVsGlad I'm not alone. I've had this same issue for months.
It's only YTTV that stopped working....and yes, I've tried every "fix".
Hey Samsung! How about an app update?

LED and OLED TVsI placed this forum post so others can know what was happening.
I have had now more than 20 communications with YouTubeTV . They keep telling me they are working on it.
No luck.
I do, however, feel that it is a Tizen OS glitch with YouTubeTV.
