Sound Bar Issue

I cannot connect my Sony HT-S100F soundbar. There is no "external speaker" option for my Samsung UHDTV 6 Series model UN58MU6070

@CraigAZ To connect the soundbar to the TV, run the HDMI cable from the TV's eARC HDMI port to the soundbar.

I have made that connection but I continue to only receive sound from only the TV.

@CraigAZ From the TV Settings -> Sound menu, you should be able to select Soundbar.

The only options shown are:

TV Speaker

Receiver (HDMI)

Audio Out / Optical

@CraigAZ Looking at the manual, it looks like for that TV will only support external speakers via optical audio connection or bluetooth speakers.
