Useless remote

I purchased a beautiful 32" tv, wonderful high def picture and surprisingly good sound from built in speakers. BUT Samsung's smart TV operating system is sad. But the real issue is the remote, people have been complaining about for years it is sad the mfg just doesn't care. This standard remote is hard to describe with out cursing. Why would it take a learning curve to turn sound up and down, why? That's just one issue, come on Samsung

To change the volume, you must press the volume button up or down, not in and out

You can purchase compatible streaming remotes if you don't like the one that came with your TV.

Alternatively, you can purchase a set-top box like the Google TV Streamer to change both your TV interface and remote control.

Google TV is very intuitive and works well with Samsung devices.

Samsung's Tizen is a joke. I have the Google TV by Onn Walmart brand. It's amazing. Built in Google speaker for hands free.
