Hey all. Iā€™m wondering if anyoneā€™s had issues with Samsung lying about help or refunds in the past. I have screen shots from multiple agents who said Iā€™d be able to get a refund down to $323 after I buy the TV. I have the screen shots and reference numbers and yet no one seems to be able to help after. Iā€™m worried that Iā€™ll get the TV and no refunded difference and then Iā€™ll have to pay the shipping to have it returned and get **bleep** over completely. Iā€™m just curious if anyoneā€™s had this type of experience with a price match or refund. Does it take a bit? Am I getting lied to?

Refund as in trade in offer or a return refund which generally comes from where you bought it

I was chatting with Samsung and showed them a previous price of the TV. They agreed to honor it and I screenshot that. And they said Iā€™d have to reach out to this other department to get the refund after placing the order. So I did that and then the other department gave me a reference number and said chat back after 1-2 hours. I did so and it seems like no one wants to actually honor it, despite the proof of agents saying they would

That sounds like the price match program and if I recall it has to be within a certain time frame 2 weeks? Off top my head maybe off there

gotcha, I see. Yeah Iā€™m not sure obviously. I just hope that if 2 employees tell me if it will be approved, thatā€™s safe enough to go off of.
