LED and OLED TVsI posted the same review on the product page already but I'm cross posting this so people see more criticism when they google and research about this TV. And I added some additional details.
I got S90D 77" from BestBuy back in June 25. First week or two, the TV was flawless. RTings review about picture quality was spot on, almost nothing to complain about other than switching to the correct HDMI 2.1 cable when trying to run hooked up to my pc with 4k@120Hz. Unfortunately the honeymoon period was short lived.
Then, the infamous power board problems. 4 weeks in, circuit breaker started to trip randomly, and then immediately as soon as I turn on the TV. Unplugged everything from that circuit except the TV and it was there. It then mysteriously went away until last night. I woke up to the tripped breaker again but this time, no power LED light on the TV. I called a certified electrician and spent $$$ trying to figure out if it was the circuit load or the TV. It was the TV.
The power board alone is like ~$400. Based on the wait times to get service on the TV, and reported repeat failures after power board replacements, I strongly discourage anyone from getting another Samsung OLED. The quickest $1500 I’ve ever wasted. This TV is not worth the risk. And I’m seriously thinking about going with LG C4 from Costco

LED and OLED TVsHave you contacted Samsung and requested a Service call since that sounds like it would be covered by the warranty.

LED and OLED TVsI’m having the same problem.
I purchased an OLED TV (model QE77S90DAE) about six weeks ago. Everything was working perfectly until now. While watching TV with my wife, the circuit breaker suddenly tripped — the entire apartment went dark. Fridge, freezer, everything shut off. That has never happened before.
We isolated the issue, and it turned out to be the TV. We tried changing the power cord and disconnected all other cables, but it didn’t help. As soon as we plug the TV into the socket (not even switching it ON), the fuse trips again. We also tested it on other circuits in the apartment — same result.
We live in Switzerland, where the electrical system runs on 230 volts. (dont know if that matters)
I can say with certainty that there is no problem with our apartment’s electrical installation, wiring, or fuses. The issue is 100% with the TV.
I’m trying to understand what’s happening and what the cause might be. I’ve read that a faulty power supply board could be responsible, but that replacing it often doesn’t permanently solve the problem.
The TV is still under a 24-month warranty. My concern is: if it’s replaced, could this happen again?
I mean, what kind of a brand new electrical device trips a 13-amp fuse without any external cause?

LED and OLED TVsMe Too. The power supply in mine quit the other night. It tripped the circuit breaker overnight while turned off. 77" OLED model QN77S90DDAAFXZA. I submitted a repair request. Waiting for a response from the repair company.
Under warranty. Got the TV the end of Jan. 2025. It was in use until April, then off all summer until Nov. 2025. It's a winter home, so the TV had maybe 3 months of use.
I'm wondering if they corrected the power supply issue so it doesn't happen again. I'm seeing posts saying this is a common problem with this TV. Perhaps a bad batch of power supplies.
