LED and OLED TVs

I posted the same review on the product page already but I'm cross posting this so people see more criticism when they google and research about this TV. And I added some additional details.

I got S90D 77" from BestBuy back in June 25. First week or two, the TV was flawless. RTings review about picture quality was spot on, almost nothing to complain about other than switching to the correct HDMI 2.1 cable when trying to run hooked up to my pc with 4k@120Hz. Unfortunately the honeymoon period was short lived.

Then, the infamous power board problems. 4 weeks in, circuit breaker started to trip randomly, and then immediately as soon as I turn on the TV. Unplugged everything from that circuit except the TV and it was there. It then mysteriously went away until last night. I woke up to the tripped breaker again but this time, no power LED light on the TV. I called a certified electrician and spent $$$ trying to figure out if it was the circuit load or the TV. It was the TV.

The power board alone is like ~$400. Based on the wait times to get service on the TV, and reported repeat failures after power board replacements, I strongly discourage anyone from getting another Samsung OLED. The quickest $1500 I’ve ever wasted. This TV is not worth the risk. And I’m seriously thinking about going with LG C4 from Costco
