Hey, So i am using the Q950T soundbar with my Panasonic ST60 TV. This tv does not support DD or Atmos passthrough so i have my PC connected via HDMI 1 on the video card to HDMI 1 on the soundbar and HDMI 2 on my video card to HDMI1 on my TV. I also have another HDMI cable connected to ARC connection on the TV and soundbar. At the moment the TV remote switches both the TV and the soundbar off, but not switch them both on.
I am looking for a way to switch both the TV and soundbar on at the same time. Will simply adding a optical cable between the TV and soundbar fix this? or do you have to have the soundbar always set to D-IN for it to work?
