I recently purchased the HW-Q995D soundbar system. I have been using several Google Nest Audios in a multi-room setup, and was really looking forward to a significant upgrade to this in our living room.
Casting to the soundbar alone works fine, but when I add it to groups (through the Google Home app, along with the Nest Audios in the rest of the house), casting to that group doesn't function properly. When I start casting from Spotify, the music plays for a short time, but the cast icon/status gets stuck on "Connecting." The music then pauses for a few seconds every 20-30 seconds, and eventually, the phone that initiated the cast loses control of the playback. Casting to groups without the soundbar still works fine.
The network is a self-managed UniFi network, and all the Chromecast devices are on a separate VLAN. However, since this works with the Google Nest devices, I don't believe the network setup is causing the issue.
I would greatly appreciate any help resolving this problem. If I can't get this to work, I'm considering returning the soundbar.

Home TheaterI have the same problem with my Q990D: Playing audio on the soundbar via Google Home works fine, but as soon as I select the group, the soundbar shows no response and doesn't play along. The other speakers in the group (for example, my HK Citation 100) do work. Yes, I have added the soundbar to the group.
Very disappointing as I was looking forward to let them play all together.
