New Galaxy Watch does not count steps

Hi! Just got my Galaxy Watch yesterday. And already today it stopped counting steps. It counted a little and then all together quit. I reset it multiple times and after the third time it counted 50 steps and quit again. Any one else is having this issue?

This doesn't work!  I already have the latest updates for both the Samsung Health App and the watch software.  The update on the watch software was supposed to: This update includes improvements to functions as listed below.

This update has done nothing.  The temporary solutions have done nothing so stop suggesting them.  The developers better work quickly for a new software update.  Please stop quoting this generic blurb and be more specific.  What software versions are causing the issue?  Should I return and not allow the watch to update to this software version?  We need answers please, not generic blurbs and work arounds that you have been told countless times that doesn't work.
