Need Recommendations Please

Hey guys, so I currently have a Galaxy Watch active 2, and I really only use it as a step counter and heart rate monitor when I go for walks with my dogs, it helps me time my walks so we stay consistent. Over the last 6 months I've noticed the watch seems less accurate about our steps and walk times. So last night I was looking into the Galaxy Watch 7, but I'm also seeing reviews saying the watch isn't accurate for fitness. I really don't want to spend a ton on just a watch, Samsung is offering me 125$ off the watch 7 if I trade in my current model.

I'm just so unsure, I like the aspect of having a Samsung watch because I have an S24 Ultra and Tab S10+, monitor, TV, heck, even my washer and dryer are Samsung. I really only need the watch for my walks and workouts, I just love the Samsung ecosystem. Are there any other watches you guys can recommend that work well with Samsung? TIA!!

In my opinion the Watch 7 is an amazing device I don’t think I’ve seen many complaints about it.  You could even go with the Watch Fe or the new Fit 3 which is made for working out

I have not noticed any inaccuracies with the Watch 7 with regard to fitness, steps, workouts, etc.  It's ugly, but it works very well.

It is somewhat less esthetically pleasing than the watch 4.

I have the watch 4 in rose gold, it's not just the color that made it pleasing, the whole case is different.  Granted, it's subtle, but it is noticeable.
