On my galaxy watch 7 everytime I take my watch off the charger, the raise to wake feature turns off. The first time I noticed this, I switched it back on and then restarted the watch but that didnt fix it. Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you ever cleared your watch's cache partition?  It may help.  I no longer use raise to wake, because it's too annoying to me.  I use tap to wake.  The screen turns on anyway when there's a notification and, if you need to see the time when you raise your wrist, just turn on the AOD.

Will this reset my watch or wipe my watch faces?

Not at all, it just cleans out old temp files that may be interfering.

I do this about once a week. I got to YouTube and follow step by step with a video so I don't mess up. It's super easy.

You don't need to do it once a week - a once a week restart would be sufficient.  Once a month would be fine and certainly after each watch software update.

Okay, so that means that something else is causing this inaction.  Personally, I no longer use raise wrist to wake, as it was annoying and battery draining. I use tap to wake.  I realize this can be inconvenient to someone who may work with their hands or needs to check the time while their hands are full, but a workaround could be to keep the AOD on, which will always show the time, in conjunction with tap to wake.

You can put in an error report and submit your logs (watch logs are contained within the phone logs)  and use the workaround until the developers respond to you/fix the issue. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
