Hi everyone!

I have been a proud owner of an SmartWatch6 for the past 6 months or so and I am really happy with it. However, I would like to request a small feature: could it be possible to add a quick panel button to lock the screen of the watch?

The screen lock feature itself is already there (which I assume is the hars part) because the screen automatically locks and requests to draw the patern (or whatever lock mechanism you have) when you take off the watch. However, there is no way to manually lock the screen without taking off the watch. In fact, a quick panel button would be great but any other mechanism to manually lock the screen would work for me (app, action assignable to button, automatic inactivity period, etc.)

In my day-to-day life there are a couple scenarios where this would be helpful: (1) when putting on gloves to ride a motorbike I want to be sure that there is no missclick possible, (2) when playing with my kids I don't like to keep moving my wirst so that they don't touch the screen, and (3) I feel more secure knowing that there is nothing that can be accidentally triggered while I am sleeping.

I am sure there are many other use cases and other users that could appreciate this feature! 😄 I am happy to provide more context if needed but I would deeply appreciate having this feature on the SmartWatch6!

Thanks in advance,

Regardng this question:

There is a possible solution that I just discovered. Steps:

1) Disable "wrist detection" feature.

2) Press the on/off button in "quick actions"

3) Choose "lockdown mode".

This activates wathc lock (e.g. PIN lock) even when watch is on wrist.

It could be useful to:

1) Make this into a special button.

2) let users know.

Thanks. AY

I've seen posts from last year requesting this, yet those still haven't been properly addressed. I'm currently using the PIN Lock + Wrist detection, yes, but i'd like to be able to lock the Watch through buttons even if i'm using it. All for safety reasons.

One concrete way to go about it is that:
- Currently, when both the (1) "Wrist detection is on" and the (2) "Watch detects it's not on my wrist" conditions are met, after a few seconds the lock is activated.
- Given that the action "lock is activated" apparently exist, can't it be listed as a possible action through "Buttons and gestures"?
Like "Double press Home button --> Screen locked" ?

Right now all it takes is to unlock it 1 time, and it remains unlocked forever until i take it off. When handling wallets through the Watch, then it becomes a concern.

Implementation should be simple and it wouldn't hurt to.
Thanks in advance for any feedback or comments!

Is someone grabbing your wrist and activating your wallet? The reason it stays unlocked on your wrist is because YOU ARE WEARING IT, and it is very, very, very unlikely someone else can access it. You will not like having to unlock it every single time you want to so something other than check the time. If you get a notification, you will have to unlock it, if you want to check the weather you will have to unlock it, etc. If you think you really want to do that, you can either unfasten your watch band and lift the watch up, or slip a small piece of paper/cardboard between your watch and wrist when you want to lock it.
