Galaxy WatchIts already been posted here about the AOD being broken with the workout screen after the latest watch update. But it also appears to have affected the GPS accuracy as well. It might not be noticiable for some unless your doing long distance workouts, but my regular runs were typically around 7.1 - 7.15km with great consistancy. And when you looked at the map, the gps tracking lines were always clean and straight, which with the watch 7 is attribured to its dual gps design. But now immediately after the update which had already broken the AOD workout screen for live data, i am getting poor gps tracking lines and the last two runs coming out to over 7.3km for the exact same route. Which it had never done in the past. It feels like they have potentially adjusted the gps settings to try save some battery and sacrificed the gps accuracy as a result.
It is a MASSIVE understatement on how frustrated i am about this new update and has caused me much distress because of how i hate when things mess with my exercuse routine so destructively.

Galaxy WatchFor a while the issues subsided but now they keep reappearing, but not on all of my bike rides. My commute is usually just under 17 km (Germany). Yesterday, towards the end of the ride it suddenly kept registering up to 19 km, despite the exact same route. At one point I supposedly went over 77 km/h!
The fact that Samsung does nothing to adress this issue for 5 months now is ridiculous!
I wish I never installed the march update. The latest update does nothing to fix the issue either.

Galaxy WatchGood morning everyone, I have the same problem with my Galaxy Watch 7. When recording MTB activities, the route appears zigzagged. My bike computer shows 35 km, while the watch records 45 km with speeds of 70 km/h uphill. Has anyone managed to fix this???

Galaxy WatchThere's a new update showing up on my Watch Ultra, has anyone else installed and checked, if the GPS zig-zag issues may have also been addressed? (My bike is undergoing a warranty claim, so I can't replicate my usual laps/issues at the moment)

Galaxy WatchI have installed it but won't be running until tomorrow. It says it's just a security update, but the file size seems a touch too large to be just a security patch. Well see.

Galaxy WatchToday I did my first bike workout with the watch and it's a DISASTER! My regular route is 45 km long, but the Watch Ultra measured 55 km and showed complete nonsense on the map. I'm devastated. My previous OnePlus smartwatch was 1000 times more accurate.

Galaxy WatchMaybe there is a provisional workaround: I have got this problem with bike workouts for months. For example 65km rides Galaxy ultra marks 85km...
Today I have done a 63km workout and I have tested to disable bluetooth on the watch (from connection watch settings) and the ride was registered perfectly! (Only 400m difference from my Garming Oregon).
Maybe is a coincidence but I have made about 10 rides and I have got problems on all rides except this one.
So you can try to disable bluetooth on the watch before doing the workout.
I have disabled Wifi and LTE too but those are always disabled for months.

Galaxy WatchI started exercising again after recovering from knee surgery.
I noticed that some of my bike rides the gps starts missbehaving mid ride: it gets all over the place, with 0 accuracy, completely off the road.
After having the active 2, the watch 4 and now the watch 7, this watch, compared to my previous samsung watches, has been finally fine from day 1. I paid around 300 euros for it, now, after 1 year it's a piece of **bleep** because of the gps.
If this problem is not fixed asap, i will buy another watch from a different brand to be able to accurately track my workouts!!! I think it's unacceptable to roll out buggy updates and not fix them for months!
Posting some screenshots, the red line is where i have been, greem is what the gps measured

Galaxy WatchAccording to this chat, this bug has been ongoing for months. To me it seems like there is a great amount of ignorance fixing it. They must be focusing on their newest watch.
Tbh i really like(d) how samsung watches work. But after this all i can think of what to buy next.
I am completely disappointed of this brand. The image quality of the camera on my s23 ultra was degraded with updates in years, now my watch is inaccurate. The only thing still working fine are my buds 3 pro.
