Galaxy WatchIts already been posted here about the AOD being broken with the workout screen after the latest watch update. But it also appears to have affected the GPS accuracy as well. It might not be noticiable for some unless your doing long distance workouts, but my regular runs were typically around 7.1 - 7.15km with great consistancy. And when you looked at the map, the gps tracking lines were always clean and straight, which with the watch 7 is attribured to its dual gps design. But now immediately after the update which had already broken the AOD workout screen for live data, i am getting poor gps tracking lines and the last two runs coming out to over 7.3km for the exact same route. Which it had never done in the past. It feels like they have potentially adjusted the gps settings to try save some battery and sacrificed the gps accuracy as a result.
It is a MASSIVE understatement on how frustrated i am about this new update and has caused me much distress because of how i hate when things mess with my exercuse routine so destructively.

Galaxy WatchHi!
I have the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and I just wanted to share my experience. Until recently, the GPS tracking on my watch was extremely accurate. However, during a cycling session, I tried connecting my Galaxy Buds Pro directly to the watch, and I noticed that the GPS tracking became less accurate — the speed readings were inconsistent, and the route on the map looked a bit off.
It seems that using Bluetooth devices while tracking an activity can interfere with GPS performance, at least based on my experience. Maybe this points even more toward a software optimization issue rather than a hardware defect.
Hope this helps!

Galaxy WatchThe watch 7 and ultra used to work well but since the march/april update it has ruined mamy peoples gps accuracy. The more people that can submit error reports in galaxy wearable, the more chance we might be able to get a fix.

Galaxy Watch- Intelligent wifi - I set auto hotspot to never
- I turn off high accuracy in google app
- I turn on high accuracy everywhere else (weather health, etc)
- Wifi is on - watch and Phone
- Location --> location services I turn off: wifi scanning and Bluetooth scanning
Now everything works fine. I tried many combinations and this settings helped.

Galaxy WatchSettings on the phone have no effect on the galaxy watch, especially because the problems persist without a phone. But even with a phone, the galaxy watch does not communicate with the phone and use it's resources in any way unless a fitness activity is started on the phone itself. So most of these settings wouldn't have an effect.

Galaxy WatchGPS accuracy is a joke. On my routine bike ride, which I have tracked since the iphone 4... It has me going 54 mph and shows clear giant brakes in the tracking route. It sucks so bad that I cancelled the LTE contract and put it in a drawer. The whole point of the watch is to not need to take the phone everywhere. **bleep** Tracey, you know? It sucks and I hate it.
