Cannot connect physical SIM card to use dual-SIM

Hi, I have just received my Galaxy S25 Ultra and am attempting to use my physical SIM I've had for a while alongside my digital one so I can use the dual SIM features. However, my physical SIM continues to display as "Emergency calls only" and will not connect while my digital SIM works fine.

I have attempted to clear the cache/data from the toolkit, force stopped it, tried manually connecting it to my network (just displays "Unable to connect. Try later"), reset my network settings, restarted my phone, tried reinserting it again and again, and still it does not work.

Did I perhaps disable the physical SIM by accident when I made the digital SIM? I'm starting to wonder because right now I am running out of options.

You most likely disabled physical SIM.Also, you can't use 2 SIM with same #. It has to be different #

My S25 ULTRA shows my SIM Card and eSIM witrh the same number. They are both with T-Moble, I figure with a diferent acrrier you would need a different number? Is that correct?

S25 support dual sim. It can be setup as 2 eSIM or eSIM and physical SIM. You will need to set up sSIM with your provider. Keep in mind that each SIM has to have its own number.

I am facing the same problem. My brand-new S25 Ultra doesn't read the physical SIM and shows 'Emergency Calls Only.' I have tried all the methods available online, but my S25 Ultra still doesn't recognize the physical SIM. I previously had an S24 Ultra, and my physical SIM worked perfectly with it. I have spent a significant amount on the S25 Ultra, and it's very disappointing to encounter this kind of problem.
