Galaxy S25I got my 1st S25 Ultra in March 2025 via pre-order from Samsung directly. It lasted until May 2025 when it all of a sudden just went black! It would not turn on or charge. Neither Verizon or Smsung could help. Asurion sod it was a warranty issue since it wasn't physically damaged. After lot of torture, Verizon sent me a refurbished replacement phone for my brand new 2mo phone. That replacement phone stopped charging after 2 weeks. But charged wireless. Verizon then sent me 3 more replacement phones before I contacted corporate and they finally sent me a brand new sealed in the box S25 Ultra in July 2025. This 2nd brand new phone lasted from July 3 until today August 17, 2025. I contacted Samsung and they told me to take it to one of their repair places? Is there a point? There's nothing physically wrong with it. Why doe this keep happening??? Is there something wrong with this particular model? I'm so annoyed that I'm considering getting an iPhone. This phone is currently charging on a wireless charger. Can someone please help!!! Thank you!!

Galaxy S25I'm using a 25w wall charger (superfast). This 2nd new phone stopped working when I plugged it into the car charger (which I've used many times before).

Galaxy S25Thanks! Will try. But right now I need my phone to charge. I just came out of a Samsung authorized repair and they told me it's a Samsung issue and my charging ports are damaged. He said this has been an ongoing issue happening a lot with this phone. He said it's nothing I did. It's a manufacturer defect and he could not replace the charging port because it's on backorder (because of this issue). I called other Samsung repair places and they all said they have to back order it. So then Samsung told me to mail my phone into the manufacturer for them to fix it. But I will be without a phone for up to 2 weeks and there's no guarantee that they can fix. They said in that case they will give me a refund. Honestly, I'm really considering getting an iPhone. This is totally nuts! Samsung needs to recall this model and do better!

Galaxy S25I was the 3rd person that day that had the same exact problem. The person in line in front of had the same exact issue. It wasn't covered under warranty, I had to pay $99 out of pocket to replace the charging port. This was in July after a month of extremely high humidity.
I had to cancel my first appointment because they didn't have the part in stock.

Galaxy S25Ps, I have taken to using a plug to put into my charging port to ensure that it doesn't happen again. I don't know if the new port that was installed was of a higher quality than the one that was replaced.

Galaxy S25I know others who have this phone and don't have this issues. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm using all the same chargers as my family. This never happened with any of my other Samsung phones (I've had models dating back to the Note 4).

Galaxy S25I had to pay $99 to get it replaced because it wasn't covered under warranty. I couldn't prove that it was caused because it was a hunk of junk that they put in on the assembly line.
