I have myS25 ultra phone plugged into my PC with a cable I use to transfer photos to and from a LaLacie external hard drive. It is charging the battery. The computer sees the S25 but says this folder is empty. I get no notification to allow transfer of files. What am I supposed to do? I hate Samsung for making this difficult to do. Why do I have to allow the phone to transfer files from my phone to my laptopl. Stupid design.

Galaxy S25On your phone swipe down the notification panel and you should see USB for charging phone tap it and change it to "Transferring files / Android Auto" and then go to Settings - "Security and Privacy and turn off Auto Blocker sometimes it will prevent the file transfer.
