Galaxy S24Did you force stop the YouTube app and then disable it, or just disable it? You should force stop it and then disable it and for good measure, delete the app cache and data, then try again. I don't use YouTube for anything other than watching short videos found on Facebook, and I do not allow it to open the app. Perhaps watching your videos from a web browser may be the answer to your battery drain.

Galaxy S24Best you can do is uninstall, disable, clear cache and data.
This brings it back to the version that was pre-installed on your device.
Then enable the app, but don't update it.

Galaxy S24And using AccuBattery and Battery Guru I'm seeing a vast Improvement. As in all back to normal. Granted it's only been a day and a half. But temperatures are not rising and usage is minimal.
Using YouTube temperature rises to almost 105 with the current version of YouTube. After doing what you did and reverting back to 19.2 temperature drop down to 83. So this still doesn't definitively tell us if it's YouTube, Android or anything else. But it's better than it was. I do not do automatic updates so I hope I remember to not update YouTube.
