Sound and system notifications not working post yesterday's update

Sound not working. Notification and system notifications make no sound.They only vibrate post yesterday's update. Sound not working notification and system notifications make no sound. They only vibrate post yesterday's update. Why do you all push updates without proper testing?

Did you make sure the update didn't change your volume levels for the notifications?  It may have because it added a new slider for the AI assistant.

Checked everything. Changed the sound selection but still it just vibrates. Only for notifications, not calls.

You changed the sound mode, but did you check the expanded volume panel? Notification volume is separate from ringer and media volume.

You can access the expanded panel by pressing a volume key to bring up the volume slider, then tapping the 3 dots at the top of the slider.

That's what  I meant when I said check the sound levels.  I guess I didn't express it clearly.

Nobody suggested anybody was dumb.  You wouldn't believe how many people don't know there's a sound panel beyond the volume buttons, so we ask the obvious questions.  There are also a lot of people who don't actually check the obvious because they are looking thinking something more major is going on.

Lol. Not me. I did all the basic troubleshooting, checked different sound options, turned off volume and turned it back on, searched on Reddit, Google, for solutions, restarted my ph several times. When nothing worked that is when I posted here.

The fact of the matter is that nobody knows what anybody else knows, and we do not know what they have tried by way of troubleshooting unless they state what they have done.

Everything works except Notifications and System. These 2 - NO sound
So if somebody texts me, I wouldn't know unless I look at my phone. Same with any other notifications. It is so frustrating.
