Sound and system notifications not working post yesterday's update

Sound not working. Notification and system notifications make no sound.They only vibrate post yesterday's update. Sound not working notification and system notifications make no sound. They only vibrate post yesterday's update. Why do you all push updates without proper testing?

I found out the cause, I think. Android ph users who have Samsung watch, this is the cause -

Check settings on phone --> volume

Now Check watch settings --> notifications

I have muted notifications and system notifications on MY WATCH 7... Android duplicates it on my phone. I did NOT mute notifications on my phone. Watch and phone have different settings. How are the Samsung developers pushing out these updates without even doing a thorough testing? Who hires such **bleep**?

Did you check the wear app settings to make sure that your settings didn't get switched to smart device selection?  This setting will mute notifications on  your phone if you are wearing your watch and it's connected to the phone.  Choose "always show on both".

I have all sounds muted on my Watch 7.  The action is not duplicated on my phone.  My phone volume is controlled separately from my watch volume.  I have never had an issue getting notifications on my watch or phone with this setup.  My watch vibrates with the notifications I have allowed, and my phone makes all the sounds I assigned to notifications.  There must be some crossed wires in your settings between the phone and watch.  Clear the cache on both devices and see if that helps.

It's always been set as show on both. I reported to Samsung. Waiting for a fix
