Unwanted notifications

I keep getting notifications from Galaxy apps like Galaxy store or news or something like that and I don't want any of these notifications. When I go to apps and try to find the apps I'm getting these notifications from there aren't any listed such as Samsung store or Galaxy store. How do I stop these notifications from coming in?

In the weather app settings you can turn off notifications the galaxy store in think can also

Make sure notification categories are turned on.  Notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for all apps.  Then go to the apps list, select Galaxy store and tap on notification categories and then slide off all the notification categories except for the one you can't (that's mandatory).  You will still get update notifications - they are to let you know that there are updates to your apps available that cannot be automatically downloaded.  You won't get notifications about updates that can be downloaded automatically (most Good Lock updates must be downloaded manually).  Do the same with the Weather app.  Turn off notifications entirely or turn off notifications for significant weather (although I don't know why you wouldn't want to be alerted for severe weather).

I tried that. The toggle button that turns notifications on or off is dimmed

You can't turn all the notifications off if you don't have categories enabled, there is one that is mandatory. Turn notification categories on per my instructions and you will then be able to turn all the categories off except the mandatory one.

Galaxy store is not in the apps list

It most certainly is - do a search or scroll the list.  In any case, you can long press the Galaxy store app icon on your home screen or in your  app drawer, tap the circled "i" and go to the notification settings, or you can long press the notification and tap the settings gear to get to the notification settings.
