S24 Battery Drain Post-Update

I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast. 

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software. 

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

I got the update for my phone today and was glad to update it. Even though it is great within like 5 minutes the battery dropped from hundred to 89% really fast. Are anybody else facing the same issue. Are anybody else tweak their settings? I haven't changed any of my old settings from my previous UI 6 and it's all the same 100 to 90% before used to take like half an hour and now within 5 minutes it's dropped out

It can be delayed due to your carrier or due to which phone you have

your right I dont want my s 24 ultra anymore I trashed it its completely done with after 15 ui 7 ... typing this on my iPhone 16 pro max..

Maybe the phone drain that fast because you just updated it or could be a bug.

waiting for iPhone 17 pro max iOS 26.... Samsungs 16 ui 8 will im quite sure will copy cat that so im sticking with my old samsung s 22 ultra back up 4 now... what's next like ui 7 and 7 betas and failed ui 8 8 betas later and fail the too???? yep I think so...LMAO 🤣
