I can't tell if this was something malicious installed by my ex boyfriend, or if it was an innocent. An innocent firmware update to my go pro. A I keeps telling me that it is not normal to find those files under downloads, on my s24ultra. I have the gopron which I have updated with firmware and I have a wyze camera also. I was hoping for some advice.

These are binary files. Do the names of the files give any clues regarding what they could be for? You can try uploading the files to VirusTotal (not sure if they can be done on a mobile, I do it on my PC) to see if it flags any malware.

Files downloaded using a browser are saved to the downloads folder by default. You can delete them and see if they reappear.

If you are worried, you can uninstall the go pro software completely, restart the phone, and reinstall the software from the playstore.

Hope these turn out to be benign files on you device.

If they are in  your downloads file, go ahead and delete them. For firmware updates, you usually have to download the installation files and then run them manually. For some devices you have to transfer the file to a USB drive and then connect the drive to the device in question.  They could be leftovers from an app download, but installations usually clean themselves up.  Look in your apps list for programs you do not recognize and uninstall them (you can always reinstall them if you made a mistake).  It would help to know the actual file names, not just the extensions.

@lostgirl42 Those files could very well be related to you updating firmware on the GoPro and Wyze cameras.

I'd say they are related to your GoPro. Image files and configuration settings. First thing that popped into my head.
