Lost Samsung messages

I lost Samsung messages and I cant get it back, my apk files never work and I don't know what to do.

How did you lose it?

Was there an update and it was removed from your device?

Have you looked in the Playstore or Galaxy Store?

I found it finally in settings, It got disabled

Yeah, I think my little cousin accidentally deleted it, I missed Samsung messages I liked it better than google

You could try pressing on "restore data" in Samsung cloud if you manually backup data there or have auto sync on with that app
