I updated to one UI7 last night and now my battery while on idle is draining extremely fast.

Had I known this would be an issue I would have never updated to this crappy software.

This is a major issue and like I said I can notice the extreme battery drain while the phone is idle.

If Samsung doesn't fix this issue I will be filing a claim as to me this is now a defective item that they caused.

Same! It's crazy! The battery was so good, and it's only a year old!

Deep sleep apps that run in the background you don't use.

Check what apps are power hungry , deep sleep them, turn on adaptive battery, lower refresh rate.

So I got the One UI 7.0/ Android 15 update on my S24 Ultra last night, and I've been noticing a big drop in battery life since then. Anyone else experiencing something similar after the update?

This is normal after an update, especially an OS update.

Your device will take about 10-14 days to relearn your usage patterns.

It is also important to perform a wipe cache partition after all updates. It will clean out all temporary installation files.

Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

I've actually done all of this and still notice higher battery drain than on One UI 6.1.
