"Hello Samsung,
I am a Galaxy S23 Ultra owner. This phone was your flagship just last year and sold at a very high price. It is really disappointing that it only gets 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patches, while the Galaxy S24 series โ only one year newer โ gets 7 years of full support.
For fairness and to maintain customer trust, we as S23 users strongly expect Samsung to extend the 7-year update policy to the Galaxy S23 series as well. The hardware is more than capable of handling it. Please take this request seriously.

Galaxy S23Why? If Samsung changes their update policy between models, that is their right to do so. Where do you expect it to end - why not extend it to the S22s & 21s? Why not support every model forever? There was a time there were no updates offered for any model, then only 2 years of updates for the longest time, necessitating purchasing a new phone every two years if one wanted the newest Android version. Samsung now leads the industry with the longest update schedule, and was even the leader when they went to 4 years. IMO, with the rapid changes in technology a 4 year old phone is outdated anyway, even if it still works perfectly. New software may not properly mesh with old hardware.
You use of the word "we" is odd - are you the spokesperson for ALL S23 owners? Are you an expert on phone technology that you can categorically state that the hardware "can handle it"? You don't know what is yet to come in updates, and cannot state what the hardware can handle.

Galaxy S23Maybe because the S23 is kind of a worth-buying because it's almost identical, it doesn't heat up as much as the other models, but the S21 had the 3 year major OS update policy extended to 4 years, which continued on until the S24 by a brief push of the community. Maybe the same thing would happen, since the S23 is litterally capable of 7 years of major OS updates and even more. The S23 is just the better buy for other people since it runs under the best processor ever made the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, the two years before were the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 888 chipsets, which had the popular heating problems we once had.

Galaxy S23Well for the last part it has been proven scientifically that the processor and the hardware of the S23 series can support until Android 19 until it starts to lag and get hot. But regardless of the major OS updates the phone even after roughly 3 years since it's release still delivers outstanding performance against mid-range smartphones, notably the A56 5G, and out-of-brand models like the Redmi note 14 5G.
This simply shows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset integrated into the series is simply the best one ever made since it fixed past heating problems and throttlings in earlier models (arguably the S21 and 22 series).

Galaxy S23I think the S23 should have all the features of the S24 and S25 in the last major update. Currently, the S23 has limited features, such as ambient weather wallpaper.
