Hello,

I have already searched for posts about this and did not see any resolutions and most were from last year. I purchased my flip 6 brand new from Verizon in September 2024. Today while using the phone, the entire phone screen went black including the front screen. After finding troubleshooting steps online, I was able to reboot it and get the front cover screen to work however, the inside screen is still completely off. My phone is in perfect condition. It's been over a year now so apparently the warranty is no longer even valid. Am I just out of luck at this point and need to purchase a completely new phone after only a year?

@usernxB9oP41VF You will need to reach out to Samsung support and have the device evaluated at a service center. If you have Samsung Care+, reach out to them.

For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.

Another option is to contact Samsung support via https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/

Thank you. I will be taking it to a service repair shop tomorrow. It's just very frustrating that the phone is only 1 year old, in perfect condition and having this issue. This repair is expected to cost minimum $400 which might not even be worth it. The phone hasn't been paid off yet and it sounds like there are thousands of people online who have reported the same issue. I would hope Samsung has a better resolution for customers who spent so much money on this device. Super bummed as I really love this device.

For those who are interested and may have the same issue, I took it to the local Repair store and paid $416 to get it fixed. They told me this is very common with any foldable phone and that they eventually break like this. I don't think this is very fair for customers, it's almost like we bought defective devices. The Repair tech highly recommended buying insurance anytime you get a foldable phone, which I did not have and the 1 year warranty just passed last month.
