Fold & Flip PhonesI purchased the Fold 7 July 10th. Before checking out I was given an option to add insurance such as Samsung Care+ or I could choose Samsung VIP Advantage which comes with Samsung Care+ as a subscription. I went with VIP and I checked out. I received my Fold 7 and have been enjoying until last week, November 29th, when I noticed the inside screen was black and green. I somehow managed to close the phone with a foreign object inside and it broke the screen. I went to a local Samsung Experience store, and I was told that my phone didn't have Samsung Care+. After speaking with an agent, she told me that after receiving my Fold 7 I was supposed to, somehow, add my phone to the VIP advantage. I was never instructed of this or else I would have done it. The agent said that because its pass 60 days I can no longer add it and that I would be on the hook for the cost of the screen. Thankfully they did offer me a 1-time repair but that's it. December 5th I received an emailing saying that now I will be charged for the price of the repairs $637.90 and repairs will not resume until its paid. WHAT's Going ON?! WHAT DID I PAY 150 FOR WHEN I PURCHASED MY PHONE?

Fold & Flip PhonesI appreciate the reply. I unfortunately bought it with Affirm. I forgot about the insurance with credit cards. I'll use my card next time. I did not receive an email certifying the insurance but I've had Samsung Care before and it was automatically attached to the phone at the time of purchase. My understanding was that VIP was better and according to my account webpage, the purchase of the phone was shown on there. Although the focus was on the reward points earned from the purchase.

Fold & Flip Phones@RuruInn I'm sorry that you have had this experience. IME you must purchase and verify enrollment in the VIP program before purchasing any items. Once that is done, any purchases on Samsung.com or through the Shop Samsung app will give you the opportunity to select your VIP advantage for the Samsung Care+ advantage.

Fold & Flip PhonesThanks for your response. I didn't receive any further emails regarding my insurance. Even when I paid monthly last year for my Fold 6 there was barely any confirmation that I had the insurance except for the paid receipts. When I log into my Samsung account it only shows the perks the insurance provides but it doesn't list my protected devices. With VIP advantage the webpage only gives me the option to cancel and when the membership renews. That's it. I believe the problem is on Samsungs end.

Fold & Flip PhonesSamething happened with my Fold 7 purchase. It didn't enroll my phone for Care+ with my VIP Advanatage purchase on the same order. I also never received any e-mail communication to setup. This is outright theft from Samsung and they are not willing to help since I got to know about about this after 60 days.

Fold & Flip PhonesHi, I had a similar issue occur. I purchased a Fold & Galaxy ring, added VIP, and applied the 2-year Samsung Care to both the Ring & the Fold. I recently started having issues with the Ring. After getting nowhere with Samsung Support, I went on the Samsung Care+ site to submit a claim. Unfortunately, my ring didn't show up in the portal (but my phone did). I went back through my email and found that I received an activation for my phone, but not for my ring. After some back and forth with the Care+ and Support teams (Care told me to go to Support, Support told me to go to Care), I sent them (Care+) the invoice showing that I had the 2-year care plan on the order invoice for both the ring & for the phone, and the Care+ team was able to get the ring added. I actually just got my replacement today. I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
