Samsung Apps and Services@cfLlgeG Sorry but the update can't be revert back to the old OS you can change the 2 major changes with just a few simple steps.
Quick Notification settings
- Swipe down from the top right of the screen.
- Click the Pencil icon in upper right.
- Click the Panel settings in upper left
- Change the setting from Separate to Together.
App drawer Settings
- Open the App Drawer
- Click the 3 dots in the Search Bar
- Select Sort
- Custom
- Now you can rearrange your Apps to where you had them before the update.

Samsung Apps and ServicesSo that's why all my apps look messed up???? I have them all placed based on muscle memory it will take me AGES to get them all put back in the right order. I've managed to fix the notifications panel thing but there are NUMEROUS other problems I have with this update that I want GONE. I'd rather have a flip phone than this. Next time I get a new phone I don't know what I'm going to get but it sure won't be a Samsung after this.

Samsung Apps and ServicesIt's not accessible if you can't change it to fit your specific needs. For instance, I don't use that dumb little search bar. For me it is literally more in the way than it is anything else. I'm literally ๐ค๐ค this close to going to the Verizon store tonight and getting a flip phone or something because I do not want this on my phone.

Samsung Apps and ServicesThanks. I'm trying to figure out how to make it look right again, but this might help. I'm still incredibly upset and angry about this.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI've asked specific questions and said what I wanted. Functionally a lot of stuff has changed that I've had to figure out how to change back. I should be able to customize these things like I have always bee able to. I don't about fun colored app folders but I do care about every single one of my app icons changing size, my widgets no longer fitting correctly on my home screen, the inability to customize the appearance of those widgets, the removal of the ability to choose where the apps search bar is (how is it accessible if we can't move it where we want it personally?), my camera app completely changing where everything is and making the setting icons SMALLER (not accessible), etc etc etc. I could keep going. There is nobody to help me change everything back because I can't change everything back, and the only way to fix everything is to spend hours upon hours in a third party app trying to rebuild my UI from scratch and it's still not going to look right. Sure, I might get used to it with time, but I shouldn't have to. I don't want an iPhone. I don't like them. I don't like their interface. So I buy Samsung. What good does it do for Samsung to imitate iPhone when most of its clientele are people who actively DO NOT want an iPhone. Please do not tell me how to feel about this. Sure, maybe it "won't be so bad" but this signals a much larger issue with Samsung showing that they're catering to the dumbphone iPhone market rather than trying to just be better. This update is indicative of a complete and blatant disregard for the wants and preferences of a majority of its customers. If Samsung is going to continue to make changes like this then it is no longer the phone company I want to provide my phone and I will figure something else out. I hope however that Samsung will remedy this with a follow up update allowing us to change what we want or to revert back to the previous One UI.
