Samsung Messages

Recently I switched over from Google messages to Samsung messages, and I have to say I prefer Samsung messages. 

Although Google messages offer emoji reactions, and the edit text feature it doesn't allow full message customization that I prefer; and the ability to categorize messages, change group text images, seeing the native emoji style, etc. 

Thankfully my carrier supports RCS so image/video quality is amazing, I still get read/delivered receipts and typing indicators. I think Samsung should invest more into their native app and push it forward completely! 

Yes, Google messages offer animations for emojis, & special holidays but I just prefer a Samsung UI over Google's. If I wanted to utilize Google messages, I would've purchased a Google pixel (just my opinion). 

Samsung please invest and, add more features to the Samsung messages app - you'll get so much positive feedback from customers!

It's been said here now for well over a year that Samsung Messenger is being phased out and on new Samsung phones, Google Messenger comes set as the default messaging app. Don't expect that policy to change.

It is and if they ever phase it out then I guess I won't be messaging anyone
