Please include guests mode to ui 7 or multiuser feature other small phone have it talk less of High cost phone. I hear the feature is included in iPad thanks
I'm all for security updates but don't change the looks, sounds, and user experience without giving an option to undo the changes. Not happy with this update! At a minimum give the option to keep one's own setup as is and just update the security patches.
Sounds good, however, we are just users like you. You should provide feedback to Samsung. On the main page of the Member's App, click support, then scroll down to Send Feedback and click it. Then follow the prompts.
It is weird that "We the people" don't want this despite 2 full months of people ragging on Samsung for not having it released already. To me this is just as absurd as a toddler knocking their cup off of their high-chair, then crying because they can't reach it anymore (except in the toddlers case, they were not aware of what they were doing...)
Fast forward to One UI 8 and I am sure people will complain and want One UI 7 back, Samsung won't listen to whiny people, they've worked hard on One UI 7 development and they won't go back, besides, One UI 8 Watch will get the One UI 7 treatment too, new icons and new UI sounds
I do not care how hard anyone works on a bad update. You clearly do not remember when Google force updated every PC in the world so the browser had wallpaper. The anger, frustration and confusion had it undone in hours. It was a legendary chapter in hubris, to believe everyone would like it. This appraches that level of blind stupidity. Now I have two S24 phones with this childish look and all the AI being turned off. There is value in each time you reach for your device to find it works the same and is not trying to be your electronic buddy who is fun to hang out with.
So far I'm liking it very much. Smooth clean, I like the new features and look as well. My only issue is that the battery has been draining faster, but someone posted about that, and it appears the battery is re-learning our usage habits due to the new UI. It also mentioned that there's a bit of cleaning we need to do to the cache partition, and if all that's the case, I have 0 complaints at this time. Let Samsung cook!
I never post on these sort of sites, but this update compelled me to come out from just reading a forum to actually writing in one. This update is physically making me nauseous with the open app tiles menu. You know... when you are scrolling through and closing apps. That motion and the speed at which they move is making me physically ill.
I don't want to revert for any other reason, but it seems really unfair to get a population of customers sick from the update because now that they updated, they have no choice but to live with it.
How do I get this godawful One UI 7 off of my phone??? I hate it. I hate everything about it. If I wanted an iPhone I would have bought an iPhone, but I didn't. I am furious right now. I cannot use my phone like this. Unless you're going to make this nonsense customizable right now I want it off my phone.
