Since the most recent update, using hands-free Alexa causes my TV to wake up but fail to return to sleep leaving the screen on. Could you advise on how to disable the daily board or provide any workaround?, this feature worked seamlessly, but the update, the TV awake.

QLED and The Frame TVsHi there, thanks for reaching out about this. Just to confirm, are you trying to use Alexa to power off the TV, or are you wanting to use a sleep timer function to power off the TV after a set amount of time? Also, could you provide the model number for your TV so that we can look into this further?

QLED and The Frame TVsHey, thanks for reaching out. I'm not using Alexa to power off my TV. I want to be able to use Alexa's "Hands-Free: Anytime" even when the TV is off, just like before your recent firmware update. In a nutshell, I say: "Alexa,...", TV screen wakes up, black TV screen, blue strip indicating it listens, and after the voice command, it goes BACK TO SLEEP 🙂 After the update, the daily board, which was forced upon us, cannot be removed. You can make the screen black with a clock on the left-hand side if you disable the Boards—I can deal with that—but I'm not happy that the TV doesn't go back to sleep, and I find myself turning it off after a command. I need to find a remote to manually switch it off. I don't need the Boards on the screen at 3 AM/4 AM lighting up my living room like a Christmas tree, waking everyone up when all I need is to whisper a command. So why can you not just disable it. My home is smart, I need this function to work. The forum is buzzing, and I'm not the only person with this issue. And it is an issue. Model: QE75QN800CTXXU—so barely your new flagship.
