QLED and The Frame TVsI recently purchased a 2025 Samsung Q6F Series QLED (SamsungVision AI Smart Tizen TV) and I am extremely frustrated that there is no way to turn off Home Screen promotional previews for apps or services I don’t subscribe to (example: Fandango, Tubi, Pluto, etc.).
I have checked all settings thoroughly, including:
Home screen menus
General & Privacy
Terms & Privacy
Privacy Choices
System settings
Support → Device Care
App settings (if any)
Samsung Services / Content Services menus
None of the normal “Home Screen,” “Personalization,” “Featured Content,” or “Promotional Content” options exist on this particular firmware version.
There is no toggle to disable promotional tiles or previews, and the TV constantly shows content for apps I do not have installed or do not want to see.
This is a major user experience issue, and it appears that the 2025 Vision AI firmware removed the ability to turn these off.
I am requesting that Samsung please:
Add a toggle to disable Home Screen promotional content
Add a toggle to disable preview tiles for apps the user does not have installed
Ensure all 2025 models have the same Home Screen customization options found in earlier years
Several other users appear to be experiencing the same issue with 2025 models.
Please escalate this as a firmware feature request to the engineering team.
This is a core usability issue and should not require workarounds.
Thank you.
