i have my personal laptop and office laptop connected to my monitor.

But the monitor sound is not recognized in my office laptop.

I will be happy to assist you. How are the laptops connected to the monitor? Have you tried swapping the connecting cables?

They are connected through HDMI and I did already swapped.. nothing works

Is the work laptop configured to send sound over HDMI?

It worked in the past.. and stopped working suddenly

Dose the audio work on both HDMI inputs with the personal laptop?

This would mean that the audio is not coming from the work laptop. You may want to check the settings there, or contact your IT department for assistance.
