Odyssey Ark Gen2 - Won't Auto Switch Input when in Standby Mode

I have the Odyssey Ark Gen2 that I use for Office Use when working from home and gaming.

I have my work laptop connected to HDMI input 3 and my desktop to Input 2.

For example, I'm done working on my laptop and shutdown, the monitor will enter standby mode and if I turn on my desktop PC (input 3), the monitor will not detect the input and turn on.

If I hit a button on the remote to exit standy mode  then turn on my desktop, the monitor will detect and switch inputs.

My understanding is the Auto Switch Plus feature is still suppose to work in standby.  If it doesn't then that defeats the purpose of the feature and is only useful when you turn one device off and then immediatly turn on another device before the monitor enters standby mode.

This has bothering my for quite some time and is a huge inconvenience.   I'm at the point where I'm about to ditch this monitor and find something else.  There is no excuse for input auto switch to not work on a flagship $2k+ monitor.

Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?
