Can you use a remote with the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G61SD)? And if so which one?

The monitor did not come with a remote, and I didn't see any IR on the device.

Alternatively, can you use software to change input and picture settings?

I have the monitor set back a ways, and using the control stick behind the monitor is becoming a pain.

Thanks!

(( ~ Edit ~ ))

After reviewing more details the Monitor has something called

Samsung's Auto Source Switch+ feature allows monitors to automatically detect and switch to the input source of a newly connected device when it powers on. This eliminates the need to manually change input sources on the monitor. It's designed to make switching between devices seamless, especially for users with multiple devices connected to their monitor.

Sorry,  to say but if the monitor didn’t come with a remote then it’s not equipped to use one with it.

I don’t know of any software that would allow you to change the input on the monitor other than the buttons on the monitor itself.

you can see if the monitor shows up in Smart things and that might give you a option to change it but since it doesn’t have smart capabilities I don’t think it will show up

thanks for this. when I tried it before it was a bit finicky, like my second device would have some idle activity and the source would switch when I didn't want it to.

I'll spend some more time with it and see if I can get it working better.

thanks!

Just an information link to specifications and manual for a monitor they seem unfamiliar with.

I try to be helpful though not all recognize it as such.

I was thinking about this exact same thing the last couple days! I have my monitor, an Odyssey 3D, hanging on the wall with a TV mount and having to get up each time to turn it on or off, or adjusting settings is getting annoying. Sometimes I don't even bother and just leave the set on standby, but does anyone know if that wears out the set prematurely? Is it wiser to turn it off completely?
