Monitors and MemoryFor some reason the Samsung 57" G9 Odyssey doesn't support 21:9 resolutions by default.
It supports 7160x2160, but not 21:9 ratios like 5120x2160, (5120x2160, 3840x1600).
Ironically it supports much lower 16:10, 16:9 ratios and resolutions.

Three part question:
1) why doesn't Samsung support these 21:9 ratios by default?
2) Is there a way to add a formal request for Samsung to support 21:9 ratios? This monitor has been out for years and 21:9 monitors are becoming very popular.
3) If no to (2), any ideas how to add this manually?

Monitors and MemoryConsulting the Standard Mode Signal Table from the manual for the 57" G9 show these resolutions:
Available resolutions are dependant on the native resolution of the display. If 21:9 resolutions are required then a proper display/screen size should be chosen at purchase to accommodate them.
