LED and OLED TVsGreetings,
I have a Samsung QN90AA 50 Tv and YouTube TV. Up until last night it had worked for some years.
Now there is no video or sound. The guide shows up and all the settings tabs and so on. There is even the option to resume a previously viewed show and I can click on that.
No video at all. It is stuck on a black screen with the little circle spinning.
If I click on the resume show windows, there is a commercial for some 3 minutes. The commercial video shows. No problem. there little timer is there to show the 3 minutes going by. Then upon completion, the screen goes black with the spinning circle.
I have done the following: power recycle, reinstall, clear cache, delete Smart Hub and reset to factory specs. No change.
In looking at the nerd information there is NO "Network Activity" The connection speed shows as well as the buffer health.
Also, YouTube TV works fine on my Samsung S21, desktop, laptop, tablet and Roku device. No problem.
The Samsung TV is connected via hardware to the router. There is WiFi also. Tried both connections. Just in case there was a hard wire issue. Zero luck there.
Up until now, there was not any issue. Download speed is about 120 Mps and upload is about 60 Mps.

LED and OLED TVs@userTg2j09DivS The only solution we found a year ago was to install an Amazon Firestick in an HDMI port, and then simply use the Firestick remote for everything. We threw the Samsung remote in a drawer. YTTV has worked fine every since. We get a whole lot more Amazon free TV channels so that was a plus.

LED and OLED TVsJust going to add onto this thread here with the same problem on a QN90AA (50 in)
I'm new to Youtube.tv so I can't say for sure that it worked previously. However, I do know that sometime last Spring a lot of my Samsung apps starting having trouble. Looking at it now, I'm going to assume that a firmware update broke something.
Youtube.tv - Clicking to watch any content, live or recorded, results in a spinner that never ends
Roku - can watch some live channels while others only show a black screen, can't watch any on-demand content. Have been working with Roku for months without any resolution. Worked previously.
Pluto TV - can watch streaming content but not any on-demand content. Worked previously.
Tubi - Works fine (surprisingly)
Amazon Prime - Works fine (not surprisingly since I'm guessing they have a ton of engineers)
Samsung TV - Works fine (of course)
My software version says T-NKM2AKUC-2210.0, BT-S for whatever that's worth…
Edit: Probably should have mentioned over the past several months that I have reset and rebooted the TV several times, uninstalled and re-installed apps countless times, and cleared caches as well. I also tried using a wireless connection in place of my usual wired one. No change in any of the apps.

LED and OLED TVsJust to add an interesting finding. I can watch YouTube TV on my Samsung phone. No problem at all. When I try to stream YouTube YV to my TV with the Samsung link, I do not get any live video stream. Not on the TV nor on the phone. Break the connection with my TV and voila! streaming is back on the phone.
I really do think it is a Samsung issue but they will not have anything to do with my calls or emails. I keep getting referred back to YouTube TV. At least YouTube TV is listening to me although there is no solution anywhere.

LED and OLED TVsThe only successful work-around I could find is to remove all the 3rd party apps on my Samsung TV and use a $25 4K Firestick or some other streaming device (i.e., Roku). Everything works again using the Firestick.
I had the same issue on my 13 month old, 2023 Samsung QN75QN90CAFXZA. After a year, both Youtube TV and Paramount Plus just stopped working with the same symptoms I see in this thread. I ran through all the technical troubleshooting steps I could find, and likely a few more tests than what I've seen suggested here over a period of 4 frustrating weeks.
After speaking or chatting with multiple companies involved, the ping pong match was in full swing. The App guys pointed to Samsung, and Samsung pointed to the Apps guys, and we get nowhere. I even had Samsung Support remote in to test my TV, but they couldn't find anything wrong.
This whole experience makes me think I should have purchased a less expensive brand TV and just use an Amazon Firestick.

LED and OLED TVs> Was this an automated update?
Yes, that's why I missed that it had been done.

LED and OLED TVsMy streaming issues started with YTTV at first and I tried everything others shared in this feed, including a factory reset. Opened a Ticket with YTTV Support and just shared a bunch of info but got nowhere. Finally noticed the Disney, Hulu and Peacock apps weren’t streaming now (Netflix and Prime Video worked fine). Called Samsung Support and after some checks with remote access they determined they needed to have a tech come out (TV was under warranty). Tech said the mainboard had to be replaced as they’ve seen this issue after the 2011 sw update. They replaced it and it reverted to the original sw and he told me not to auto update. To check for newer sw updates and confirm the update would resolve noted streaming issues. Not the ideal solution but wanted to share how they resolved the streaming issue on my TV. Works great now, as long as I don’t upgrade 🤦🏻♂️

LED and OLED TVsGlad you're back up & running. Sounds like replacing the motherboard & turning off automatic updates worked for you. My concern going forward with that solution is you will no longer get any updates and some of those might security related.
Samsung should provide a way to manually remove the last update and go back to the one that worked while they work on a fix but I'm not holding my breath on that scenario actually coming to fruition. Samsung support already connected to my television and did not indicate they had the ability to do remove the latest update from their end either. So we'll just continue using the Amazon fire stick for all of our streaming.
