Greetings,

I have a Samsung QN90AA 50 Tv and YouTube TV. Up until last night it had worked for some years.

Now there is no video or sound. The guide shows up and all the settings tabs and so on. There is even the option to resume a previously viewed show and I can click on that.

No video at all. It is stuck on  a black screen with the little circle spinning.

If I click on the resume show windows, there is a commercial for some 3 minutes. The commercial video shows. No problem. there little timer is there to show the 3 minutes going by. Then upon completion, the screen goes black with the spinning circle.

I have done the following: power recycle, reinstall, clear cache, delete Smart Hub and reset to factory specs. No change.

In looking at the nerd information there is NO "Network Activity" The connection speed shows as well as the buffer health.

Also, YouTube TV works fine on my Samsung S21, desktop, laptop, tablet and Roku device. No problem.

The Samsung TV is connected via hardware to the router. There is WiFi also. Tried both connections. Just in case there was a hard wire issue. Zero luck there.

Up until now, there was not any issue. Download speed is about 120 Mps and upload is about 60 Mps.

I read the thread all the way through as I was having the same issue on my new Smart TV. Hooked up the trusty Roku Ultra box to get YouTube TV. After three weeks, I decided to give support a try today. Two different folks were on the chat (First one dropped off the chat while I was trying to figure out how to upload a video of the issue). Once I found that the video was too large to upload, I got a different rep online. Went through a lot of the same discussion up front and then it was suggested that I unplug the TV (while it was on) and unplug the network router, both for three minutes. Didn't have a clue as to why, but did as asked. Once everything came back up, YouTube TV is working fine! The rep stated that it had something to do with the network. The rep couldn't explain why it just affected the YouTube TV app, but all I can say is that doing the power off worked.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. I'm happy it's working.
