Tv Remote Voice Commands Now in Russian

This is an issue that just started happening to me a few days ago. I am in the U.S. 

After researching I found several other posts from Samsung Community and Reddit and this issue is happening world wide.

I have noticed most models of tv's affected are 2017 models.

The models affected I own are all 2017 models.

UN65MU8000, UN55MU8000, and UN497000. All with software version 1401.

All doing the same thing, voice commands now showing in Russian.

I have done all the necessary steps by resetting everything with no luck just like all the others who gave posted about this issue.

We all need to be vigilant and stay on Samsungs butt to get this fixed.

I think someone at Samsung pushed out an update for a specific model and sent the updates to the wrong tv's. 

Let's hope it's not a hack from someone.

Just check your Samsung accounts for suspicious activities. 

Hope this gets fixed soon. It's annoying when you rely on the voice commands. 

Update today 1-31-2025:

Now all tv's working again. Apparently Samsung had an issue with their server. Back to normal for now.

Mines as well.   This happened 1 day ago this not normal for everybody with a Samsung TV is having the same issues I wish we can get the truth to what's going on please help us all. this is very scary.

HI, 

I deleted the internet from my samsung tv and then put it back on and the voice now works in English.
