This should be possible if the soundbar was made after 2017. If that's the case, there should be an option for the soundbar to respond to either a Samsung only remote or a remote from another manufacturer. Try toggling through those options and see if the soundbar responds to your TV remote. If both TV & soundbar support Bluetooth, you may have to pair the soundbar to the TV in order for the two to communicate with each other.
